Accepting our Easy Move scheme allows us to take your home of choice off the market for four weeks whilst your existing home is marketed. We'll be actively involved in the marketing process for you from start to finish for added peace of mind, and will even pay up to £5,000* towards your agent's fees, to help towards the cost of the move itself.

Setting the market price for your own home is key to ensuring a strong level of early interest, maximising your chance of securing a successful sale whatever the market conditions in your area.
We will help to arrange up to three independent valuations from reputable estate agents in your area, allowing you to agree on a realistic selling price for your home and the best agents to employ. If you are already on the market, we will liaise with your appointed agent(s) to review the marketing strategy for your home to ensure that you have the best chance of finding a buyer.
Once you have all the information in hand and have decided to go ahead, your commitment to us is an Easy Move reservation deposit on your chosen Berkeley home. This deposit is fully refundable, and for your complete peace of mind, we will also keep your chosen home off the market for four weeks.
This is our commitment to you while you instruct the preferred estate agents, your own home is marketed and a buyer is found.
Throughout the marketing period, we will be in continued contact with your appointed agent(s) to monitor the level of interest in your existing home.
Our experienced Sales Consultants will discuss the marketing process with you, giving advice and support where necessary on interest and potential offers to take the stress out of the selling process.
Once you have received an acceptable offer on your own home, our Sales Consultants will liaise with your agents to check and confirm the status of the prospective buyer, to ensure that they are in a position to proceed immediately with the purchase.
They will also make sure that everything is in order to allow you to commit to the reservation of your new Berkeley home with complete peace of mind. At this stage a full reservation is completed, and your Easy Move reservation deposit is topped up to a full reservation deposit.
Once you have accepted an offer, and solicitors have been instructed, we will want you to exchange contracts within 21 days. Our Sales Consultants will provide information to ensure this is achievable for both you and your solicitors, and keep you updated every step of the way on the progress of the sales in your chain, as they liaise with all of the agents involved.
You will be updated regularly on the readiness of your new home, giving you the comfort of understanding how both your purchase and sale are moving forward. On exchange of contracts a 10% deposit will be required, with the balance due once you complete on your purchase and Easy Move into your new Berkeley home!
